I can't believe it's been five years since I've "deviated". I didn't even get the chance to post any of my stuff back then. "Back then" was when I was still in junior college, working on my 2-year multimedia design associate degree. So much time has passed... I've done some graphic design work for friends and acquaintances, some pro bono, but it's always been the same story - I always get a kick out of firing up Photoshop 7 and creating stuff on digital canvas whether I got paid for it or not.

Although, through the years I've literally "deviated". I haven't been doing anything graphic design-related. I haven't been inspired. I wish to go back to school and take up graphic design and hopefully make it my primary source of livelihood. It's devastating to let something you have just wither away and die. It's hard to just let your talents go to waste and let your mind stagnate. I need to do something, and I think going back to DA is a start.

I have to give credit to one person though - she sort of made me come back - Heather Kuzmich aka 0Pandoras0tear0. I've been watching her on Cycle 9 of America's Next Top Model and all these online blogs and forums pointed to her Deviant Art page. I tried to log in and all the info I entered still worked, so here I am!

Heather on the show has a great sense of humor, and it's nice to see that that trait of hers translates onto her art as well. She's a good artist, too, in my opinion.

Anyway, I guess all I have to worry about now is what else I can upload to my gallery.
